Natrosol™ Plus 330 PA 5075-Additive-JOINING CHEM

Natrosol Plus 330 PA 5075 is an associative cellulosic polymer specially developed for use in latex paints. It has a higher water viscosity compared to the regular Natrosol Plus 330,which results in 10-15% higher paint thickening efficiency and a slightly different rheology profile.This rheology control agent combines many of the desirable properties of Natrosol hydroxyethylcellulose with the rheological performance of a synthetic associative thickener.The outstanding performance advantages of Natrosol Plus are most apparent in interior and exterior flat paints. Natrosol Plus, as an associative thickener, is more formulation ependent than conventional cellulosic based thickeners, but is much less sensitive than synthetic associative thickener.

Properties and Uses

Natrosol Plus 330 PA 5075 is a nonionic water-soluble polymer.The hydrophobic modification consists of long chain alkyl groups chemically bound to the polymer backbone.The physical properties of hydroxyethylcellulose (HEC) and hydrophobically modified HEC(HMHEC)are not essentially different.The nonionic nature of Natrosol Plus is an advantage in latex paints.

Natrosol Plus 330 PA 5075 contributes a number of significant property improvements to latex paints, such as:

Packaging and Storage

Natrosol Plus 330 PA 5075 is of U.S.A.origin,and is packed in polymer-lined multiwall bags of 50-Ibs and 25-kgs net.

Natrosol Plus 330 PA 5075 is a non-perishable powder.It is recommended to use the product in rotation on a first-in first-out basis. The product should be stored under dry and clean conditions in its original packing and away from heat.

The product is hygroscopic. The packaging is selected in a way to avoid ingress of moisture, but the water content of the packed product will/may increase if not stored dry.
